Chef Caleb Noel  Chef Caleb was basically ‘born in the business’. A native Virginian, his experience and talents come from working at the side of his father and grandfather. The numerous years of this on-the-job-training offered opportunities for the nurturing and development of his own style and creativity. As a featured guest on WVPT Cooks with Tassie Pippert, Chef has made a name for himself locally. For owners Cookie & Steve, Chef Caleb was an obvious choice for this new kitchen. His professional journeys have led him from the Hotel Strasburg, South Street Grill and Spotswood Country Club to Downtown 56. Chef and his wife Catie live in Shenandoah with daughters Cadence and Charlize.
